A Bit About Irwindale...

Located in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, and just 20 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles, Irwindale is a small, thriving business community in the midst of one of the world's most productive regions! Irwindale is home to the Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area was first opened to the public in 1978, in joint cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The facility houses a Nature Center staffed with dedicated volunteers. Santa Fe Dam offers fishing, boating, camping, picnicking and bicycling.

NASCAR fan? Visit the Irwindale Speedway, Southern Calfornia's State of the art motorsports complex delivering high speed entertainment for racing fans of all ages. See race cars of all types including Stock Cars, Sprint Cars, Midgets, Supermodifieds, Legends, Trucks, and more!

Did you know ...

The city of Irwindale is known as "Jardin de Roca," Spanish for "Garden of Rocks" because of the high quality of rock and gravel found here. Almost every highway in the State of California, and many highways west of the Mississippi River, have Irwindale rock as part of their foundation.
